How do you choose the right heating system for your home? Do the 50 degree test. This test involves setting the flow temperature of your central heating boiler to 50 degrees during a cold spell. If your home then still stays comfortably warm, it is suitable for a heat pump. If not, a condensing boiler is a good alternative.
What does a condensing boiler do?
Your current boiler emits flue gases with an average temperature of 200°C, heat that you don't use and just blows into the air. A condensing boiler, on the other hand, recovers some of that heat, leaving the flue gases with a maximum temperature of only 80°C at full power.
The classic bath geyser is also a good option. This bath geyser no longer has a pilot light, but an electronic ignition. The appliance already starts up at a very low water quantity and the outlet temperature, which you can set in advance, is measured continuously. This guarantees that the requested temperature remains constant.
This unit draws the necessary oxygen from the outside air, eliminating CO intoxication and allowing you to install it in any location.

A heat pump boiler draws energy from the air. Even at -7°C, hot water is still produced. The efficiency of the boiler is expressed in COP. If you use 1 unit of electricity, you get 4 in its place. Your COP is then 4.
Heat pump
A heat pump takes heat from the outside air, ground or water and uses it to heat your home. The government has decided to reduce the VAT rate from 21% to 6%.
